Officer Lance is with the sexual assault unit of Omaha Police Department. They are co-located with Project Harmony.
About 130 cases per year are handled. Other agencies are also co-located to help facilitate helping kids and families. They want to place kids as quickly as possible to start healing.
Children are interviewed by trained specialists. Adult cases are also handled.
