Joel Long from the Omaha World Herald.
Paper started in 1885. Peter Kiewit bought the paper in 1962 and held until his death in 1979. It then became employee owned until BH bought the paper.
There have only been 6 publishers to the OWH.
The paper has gone through changes and changed to electronic news delivery. 2/3 of Douglas county population interacts with the paper and omaha.com.
