New Kiwanis District Secretary

My Fellow Kiwanians:
As most of you know Frank Murphy our District Secretary-Treasurer is retiring September 30, 2015. Frank has done an outstanding job; he has been the continuity and the glue that have held this district together for the last 7 years. I want to personally thank Frank for the great job as District Secretary and for making this transition easier!
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Barb O’Donnell; I belong to the Bellevue AM Club. It is my honor to try and fill Frank’s shoes as the incoming District Secretary-Treasurer.   I have been a Kiwanian since 2008 and have held several offices, including Lt Governor, in my short time as a Kiwanian. I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am to have this position and promise you all that I will work hard to make this a smooth transition and to serve your needs in the years to come.
A little bit about me – I am married to my wonderful hubby Bill. I have four grown children and 11 grandchildren, 7 boys and 4 girls. Some of my hobbies are golf and making custom greeting cards. I make birthday cards and Christmas cards for all of Bill’s clients. For my Kiwanis Club each member gets a card designed just for them on their Kiwanis Anniversary, our President writes a personalized note and then gives the card to the member. It has been a fun tradition.
