Jeff and Lisa from OPPD came to speak about the changing energy mix coming from OPPD.
The change to some wind power is a shift to buying in Nebraska. The one, fully owned wind generator is in Valley. Other wind generators are partially owned. More are coming online.
Customers want an energy mix and a reduction of energy use. They will voluntarily reduce use if the tools are provided. And people will pay about 3% more for a broader alternative energy mix – but keep it affordable.
